A tribute to the World War II crew and B-17 Flying Fortress "Memphis Belle" who made military history completing 25 combat misssions with it's crew intact. Once a crew completed 25 missions they could go home. They flew home in June 1943 and spent 3 months traveling to 30 American cities to thank the American people for supporting the war effort.

Wine Inspired Art
"Belief in Purpose" this Wine and Art includes an exquisite bottle of Greek Wine donated by local shop keeper of the Gourmet Center and Delicatessen in Old Town Alexandria, in appreciation of the US military. As a young girl this shopkeeper, originally from Cambodia, had stood with her mother, for hours, in a long line, awaiting execution. It was the US military and Red Cross who came in and rescued her. Eternally grateful to the US military, she had to include this favorite wine of Sissy Cutchen's (Navy spouse, and local contemporary American Folk and Visionary artist), when Sissy went to make a wine purchase for the Navy-Marine Corps Ball auction which supports the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Spiritually inspired, Sissy decided the wine must have art to capture that intimate moment. She likes to refer to such moments as "bumping up against a grateful nation". In this case, the message of the shopkeeper's poignant story is clear, "we are loved and cherished by more than we will ever know".
